There are a range of extremely useful free teaching resources for teachers and educators. This guide will provide links to a range of different sources that may be helpful in your classroom or in your planning. Some resources will be for the whole classroom while others will just provide inspiration as to what is possible.

The website is a multi-media living archive that holds records about people, resources, programs, events and activities that were or are part of the formal schooling of Aboriginal students in the Northern Territory, particularly remote communities. Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is an independent statutory body aiming to improve the learning of all young Australians through world class curriculum, assessment and reporting.
The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) provides national leadership for the Australian State and Territory Governments in promoting excellence in the profession of teaching and school leadership. The Australian Professional Teacher Standards can be found on this site. AITSL also have Teacher Toolkit where teachers can find online tools and resources to support quality teaching.
Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory is responsible for registering persons as teachers and facilitating the continuing competence of teachers in the Northern Territory.
