Language Classes for School Aged Students from Transition to Year 12

School Program

The Darwin Languages Centre delivers language programs to thirty six schools located in the Darwin, Palmerston, rural and regional areas. Darwin Languages Centre also delivers a language program to Alyangula Area School on Groote Eylandt. Languages delivered to schools including Indonesian, Mandarin and Japanese.  

Language programs for students are not only concentrated on oral language but an immersion into the whole culture including traditional dress, food, music, festivals and traditions.
